２００５年６月１２日に行った、スタンフォード大学卒業祝賀スピーチの全文をのせ、
ちょっとコメントを入れてあります。



Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.
あなた方の時間は限られているので、誰か他の人生を生きて、無駄をすべきではない。
Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking.
他の人々の考え方と共に生きていくというー教条にとらわれる必要はない。
Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice.
あなたの心の中の声を他人の意見の騒音の中にかき消されないようにしなさい。
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
そして大切なことは、あなたの心や直感に従う勇気を持ちなさい。
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
そうしたわけか、それらは、あなた方が本当になりたいことを、すでに知っているのだ。
Everything else is secondary.それ以外のすべてのことは二の次でよい。


Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. ハングリーであれ、馬鹿であれ。

And I have always wished that for myself. そして、私は、私自身そうありたいと望んできました。
